چکیده
The genus Meloidogyne is one of the most economically damaging plant parasitic nematodes on a worldwide basis. To date, only dragon fruits in Brazil were reported infected by M. javanica or incognita previous surveys. From 2019–2021, we conducted our investigation 62 orchards from 10 counties Hainan, which are main producing areas China. collected roots visually scored gall index to evaluate distribution and severity diseases caused Meloidogyne. Then, isolated further confirmed combination morphological molecular analysis. This survey revealed that root-knot widely distributed red fruit planting Hainan severe symptoms including stunting, wilting, yellowing stems. nematode populations identified as enterolobii javanica, among which, accounted for larger proportion, 93.9%. knowledge, this first report causing fruit. results obtained will provide an insight into presence plants. Also, these raise attention developing effective management strategies prevent spread Hainan.

Pigment identification and antioxidant properties of red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus)
The aim of this study was to identify pigments present in the red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) and to further investigate the antioxidant properties in this fruit. Pigment was identified using the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and results confirmed the presence of betanin in sample at a retention time of 11.5 min which corresponded to the retention time of the betanin st...

BACKGROUND Determination of physico-chemical (weight, length, diameter, stomatal density, respiration rate, colour, soluble solids concentration, titratable acidity, chlorophyll and betacyanin content) and structural changes of red-fleshed dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus (Weber) Britton & Rose) was carried out from 5 to 35 days after pollination (DAP) in order to explain their growth, devel...
متن کاملMicroencapsulation of Dragon Fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) Peel Extract Using Maltodextrin
Dragon fruit peel can be utilized as a natural dye due to betacyanin content, redviolet pigment of betalain group. Betacyanin is unstable to temperature, oxygen, and light, consequently microencapsulation technology is required to maintain its stability. This study aims to determine microencapsulation efficiency of dragon fruit peel extract with variation of encapsulation ratio and to perceive ...
متن کاملIsolation and identification of myo-inositol crystals from dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus).
Crystals isolated from Hylocereus polyrhizus were analyzed using four different approaches--X-ray Crystallography, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and identified as myo-inositol. The X-ray crystallography analysis showed that the unit-cell parameters were: a = 6.6226 (3) Å, b = 12.0462 ...

The aim of this study was to examine the effects of extraction methods on antioxidant capacities of red dragon fruit peel and flesh. Antioxidant capacities were measured using ethylenebenzothiozoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) radical cation assay and ferric reducing antioxidant power assay (FRAP). Total phenolic content (TPC) was determined using Folin-Ciocalteu reagent while quantitative determin...
